The Peculiar Chronicles ~ 21 Weeks + Awards

The Peculiar Chronicles,

This blog has been alive for almost 21 weeks. I sound like a mother, he’s 32 weeks 4 days and I’m sure about 12 hours old. But in a way your blog is your child. You see it everyday, you feed it with words and pictures, and you hope to the best that it does well in life. So yeah, it’s a child. This virtual child of mine has received two awards of as late and I’m very excited! Just the thought of having someone read and appreciate your writing enough to nominate you or tag you in an award means a lot to me. A big thanks to  theworldoutsidethewindow for nominating me for the sunshine award, and another big thanks to Robertson Writes for nominating me for the Versatile Blogger Award. It’s such a wonderful surprise! As I read to accept both awards, one must thank the person who nominated you (check!), share some facts about yourself, and tag other fellow bloggers. Between the two awards I need to share 17 facts about myself, and tag 25 other bloggers that I enjoy reading. So here goes!

Facts about myself;

1- When I was a young girl, pig tails and all each member of the family had a night in the week where they made dinner for everyone, so I made nachos. For everyone, every week. Chips, salsa and cheese. For months.

2- I wanted to be an Opera singer when I was little, I would practice in my backyard

3-  I was once running from an invisible creature, with very sharp teeth. Some how it tripped me and I went  tumbling to the grassy floor beneath me. That’s when I broke my arm, I named the monster vine

4- When I was upset as a child I used to runaway to my grandmother’s house. I would write a letter to my parents and pack a suitcase. Luckily for me though, I just had to push my suitcase down the stairs and I was there.

5- I’m a horrible speller

6- I got my first job so I could support my book buying addiction. I worked on a farm  versatile-blogger-7

9- I’ve played guitar on and off since I was five years old

11- I love writing (but you knew that)
